Leaky corks suck!

Half the problem over here is transport and storage issues...heat stressed wines showing signs of leakage are qute common.
Though I had a 1969 Faiveley Charmes Chambertin with a sodden cork and a level at least 6cm below the capsule about a month ago...and it was awesome...lucky me
