Well done to them for putting it under screwcap. Are screwcaps still a minority of the closures used for white wines in New York?

They are still very much in the minority. In fact, I'm trying to track down more information about that.

I don't know of any Long Island wines bottled with a screwcap...and I know I've never seen/had a Finger Lakes one with it. They tell me the up-front costs are still too high and that they think many of their customers will balk at it.
