Funny - I was just out at our local merchant last night selecting a couple of Cab Francs to taste against the Schneider and Borghese ones for our April newsletter: "Life is a Cabernet (Franc)". Tracy selected that theme since April "showers" align perfectly with the often "murky" flavors in Cab Franc (which I think is the unsung hero of the North Fork). We selected a Chinon and a Finger Lakes wine - very hard to find a true Cab Franc from Cali and too expensive to include the Pacific NW.

mmm Cab Franc....mmm $18!
