Throughout the month of April, Lieb Family Cellars will be toasting the arrival of spring with its third annual OysterFest.
Every Sunday in April, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., tasting room visitors will be able to sample a variety of wines and oyster dishes prepared by local chefs.
The winery will offer a special vertical tasting of three vintages of their signature wine pinot blanc (including their Blanc de Blanc sparkling wine, a LENNDEVOURS favorite). They will also be releasing their 2004 Cabernet Franc.
April 15: Canal Cafe Presents Po' Boy Oysters
Chef’s Parker and Paul Hodges create their classic fried oyster po’ boy for your enjoyment.
April 22: Brewsters Seafood Market Presents Classic Raw Oysters
Wild oysters straight out of the Peconic Bay are a true delight. Offered with lemon and cocktail sauce, this classic oyster dish shows true North Fork flavor. Brewsters will also be serving
their own smoked fish and tuna paté.
April 29: Della Femina Presents Raw Oysters with Wasabi and Caviar
Chef Michael Rozzi of Della Femina offers his signature dish featuring oysters from local oysterman Michael Osinski of Widow’s Hole Oyster Company.
Tickets are $15 ($12 for wine club members) and reservations are recommended.
