I used to keep one of those big iced tea jugs in the fridge filled with water and fresh mint leaves. It's incredibly refreshing on scorching days like this. :)

I like to pour a little rye whiskey in my water. Add a few ice cubes and you're off to the races. This recipe is equally good using bourbon or scotch, by the way.

Lemon and Mint. My favorite. Jennifer's right: keep a jug in the fridge. Also, on a long plane flight recently I was reminded by a flight attendant that one of the best ways to start the day is just hot water with a lemon wedge floating in it. Hot, soothing, refreshing.
