My brother Will and I drank one of our last bottles of Schneider Cab Franc (1995) last week.

It has held up very, very well. As expected.

We continue to enjoy LI wines that range from 1991 to 2006, and we are happy to report that, excluding cork issues, ALL of our 'old' wines, red or white(!), have held up remarkably well and have been a delight to consume.

So I say congratulations and thanks to my friends at all the vineyards and wineries we favor. Your hard work has a positive impact on our lives years later.

We continue to engage in a truly heartwarming experience, every time we crack open a bottle, and "The best is yest to come."

PS Lenn, did you send my invitation to Sunday's event to my NY address or down here in Richond? because it seems to have gotten lost in the mail... :)

I'm curious...what whites from the mid 90's from LI are still drinking well?
