Thanks for the great cover. I heart NY

Nice review Shannon

The purpose for the event was not just to select wines for James Molesworth to taste, but to generate discussion around ageability and the need for Finger Lakes wineries to library wines from their best vintages. In order for the Finger Lakes to fully transition into a world-class region, a historical record of the region must exist. Certain consumers and members of the trade do cellar wines and will pay a premium for older wines. Yes, many of the wines produced in the Finger Lakes are made for immediate consumption, but as we tasted recently, there are certain wines from certain vintages that truly have aged gracefully. It is our job in promoting the region to create opportunies for media and trade to sample these excellent older wines and we appreciate James' willingness to taste this selection.
