Lenn, you forgot to mention it was awarded the best fruit wine in NY state at the 2009 NY Food & Wine Classic in August. I am not sure we would have earned that award had any judge heard and visualized Dave Breeden's quote about swinging dead cats though : )

AHA! Now I know why those deer hung out in my backyard all the time eating frozen apples! They were getting drunk!

I haven't had an ice cider in my life, so this is new and interesting to me. I'll have to get my mitts on some. I don't know how it would pear with apple desserts, but it seems right on point with a cheese plate. I'll give it a go if I can!
