Is this 100% sauv blanc or is there some semillon blended in? I believe they usually put a small % in (< 10%) in the past and I think that addition elevates it over other SB's. I think it helps soften the sometimes grapefruity-edge of Sauv Blanc that I don't personally prefer.

I recently got a bottle of this a Colicchio & Sons in NYC (Excellent wine list by the way, many FLX & LI wines). This was my first foray into Long Island Sauvignon Blanc and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Very bright and citrusy with slight grassiness. I love how it is distinctly different from any other Sauv Blancs I have had. I look forward to having more LI wines!
