So does this mean Paul Brock is giving up his teaching career, or did the winemaking bug just bite him again?

Hi Scott,
Evan neglected to mention it in his article, but Paul is continuing his full-time position as Instructor of Viticulture and Wine Technology at Finger Lakes Community College. The small size of Silver Thread will allow him to concentrate on his teaching while consulting for Silver Thread on the side.

Ah ha! As were many others, we were big fans of his work at Lamoreaux, so I'm sure we'll all be watching to see what happens at Silver Thread. Congrats on the purchase!

That's fantastic to hear, Scott. Get your palate ready for Spring 2012, when the first of Paul's Silver Thread wines will be released. Until then, much of the wine at Lamoreaux is still what he made.
