As many of you know, I have a full-time job half-way out on Long Island, which makes attending wine events in NYC nearly impossible during the week. It's been a source of frustration on my part for some time now, but there isn't much I can do without quitting my job, failing to pay my mortgage, forcing my family to live on the street, etc.
Then LENNDEVOURS' newest correspondent came along. Her name is Sasha Smith and she'll be covering NYC goings on and events when I can't.
Sasha has written about
food and wine for numerous publications, including Time Out New York and Fortune Small Business magazine. She is a student in the WSET
diploma program and has dabbled in wine retail at several New York City
shops, including Acker, Merrall & Condit and Appellation Wine &
Spirits. By day, she is the executive director of corporate communications for a
Manhattan media company.
Sasha and her husband live in Brooklyn, New York. And, they got married in Long Island wine country at The Old Field.
So welcome Sasha to the team and keep an eye out for her first story later this week...
Welcome to LENNDEVOURS, Sasha. I am looking forward to your contributions!
