Kudos, Bryan. As a fellow lover of Long Island wines, I too can vouch for the potential of Escarpment wines. I use the word "potential" because the area is clearly in mid-explosion in regard to the volume and quality of wine being produced. I think it's worth mentioning that there is about 14 wineries on the trail (not to mention the proximity to all the excellent Canadian vineyards), and someone visiting the area certainly won't have trouble finding tunz of great wine.
