I did a tour of a dozen North Fork wineries a few weeks ago. I thought Lieb was one of the best of the bunch. The Reserve Pinot Blanc was, I thought, the most fully realized wine we tasted.

It's interesting that you like the Cab Francs so much. We got to Lieb at the end of the day and I passed on the Cab Francs. My mouth was just too cut-up from tannins. Reading your reviews, I'm sorry I didn't.

Tom, I couldn't agree more with that pinot blanc. That's been a long-time favorite in my house.

I'm a cab franc fanatic...so that's not surprising really.

What were some of your other favorite LI wines from your trip?

The Meritage at Casatello di Borghese was good. I thought the area showed a lot of promise, and everyone was certainly serious about the business, but it's going to take more time.

My short write-up is here:

I love the Lieb Cabernet Franc and miss being able to get there easily.

I love this track, things related to construction is very interesting, I would like to study this issue more thoroughly, I also would like to receive updates to this article
